NIGERIA- Green white Green

First of all... introduction!!! Let me introduce you to my dear   country Nigeria, a land supposedly flowing with milk and honey, her signature is a smooth and bold blend of Green, white and green  which signifies fertility, peace, strength and progress alongside all the positive aspects of life. She is rich in vegetation and filled with so must natural resources and need i say amazingly intelligent and witty citizens. It has so much affirmative things to be accrued to. but, the negative aspects on the other hand which you are definitely aware of has surpassed its wonderful image. It is sad but the worrisome aspect is that her inhabitants and citizens in diaspora have also given up on her and this is way too bad.
Now let's get to the nitty-gritty of the matter... The solution !!!
Take a good look at my state Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola and his passion for change. has this resulted in a  complete change in Lagos state, Nigeria? The answer is No.... What are the tips to bring about this change? Your mindset, thoughts and actions... IT BEGINS WITH YOU!!

Behold the beauty!!

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" This is a well known quote. But, there are people, things, places, gestures that are considered beautiful by all... Waiting for an example? Exercise your memory by simply giving it a deep thought!!
What actually makes something beautiful is the extra time given to it. considering the fact that the capacity to think outside the box to produce something special and distinct is not given to all.
Now you may wonder what i'm actually driving at.
True beauty is felt, expressed, appreciated and valued in  an individual on the basis of an amazing character and this can be further appreciated when you begin to express yourself by :-
  • Weighing your words before you speak, let it be soothing to your audience.
  • Addressing your weakness. because expressing your self doesn't mean if you have a bad temper, you should yell at everyone around or even make a once cozy atmosphere all gloomy. Let your strengths blossom far above your weaknesses.
  • Equip yourself with information by being friendly and building your network. Don't be an island or suspect everyone always.Try to live at peace with all men because without this, life is not worth having the mentality of me myself and i learn to live and make sacrifices for others.
  •  Being a positive difference that is sought out for amidst the multitude....ecetera!!!!
Once i came across a beautiful butterfly, i stood there in awe and was filled with amazement and excitement just by the sight of it. i tried to look closer and just feel it a little only to find out that it was just a moth because it left powdery substance all over my hand and flew away. The moral of the illustration is: you may appear beautiful on the external, but will a closer look prove you otherwise?

WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW.

Elizabeth was one friend i could count to the extent that i never believed anything negative and
unclean could come out of her until the day i caught her snipping some powdery substance and her eyes were somewhat blood shot and dizzy. Then i remembered that what i used to watch in the cinemas was actually real. I almost thought she was joking because she was so dramatic. But then, i went closer and tapped her and then she started to fall. as i leaned closer to support her she became furious and suddenly jerked and tried to wade me off, then with slurred words and so much gesticulation she finally muttered some words i could hardly understand.
I was close to tears and utterly disappointed.WHY should this  be happening????

                                                                                          ...........To be cont'd

The word 'FAITH'

So much ado about faith yea!!! the truth about serving God with fear and reverence is that it truly brings understanding to the worshiper. How do you rate a child of God shouting at the top of her voice and clapping every morning? I bet you don't need an alarm to remind you that its a new dawn. And on the other hand, you can  hardly  detect the faith of another. Is the matter actually to be judged by you or does it depend on the supernatural judge?  Well, sighs....... My view about life is you either stand for something, or you fall for anything. At least when asked about your likes and dislikes you definitely fall within a group, so it is with life. You either choose to solve a problem or neglect it. You choose either to be trustworthy or not. You choose either to talk or keep quiet else, you won't be taken seriously. Assuming you were asked about what you believe in, in exchange for a certain amount or certain unpleasant things attached to your reply, what would be your response.
Faith is an assurance of what you hope for, even when it is not visible. How alert are you to your faith and improving upon its level? Rather than poke your nose in someone's faith and their level of spirituality, I'd advice you mind yours and keep on praying and work in God's line for your life. Furthermore, as a child of God, one is implored to study the word ceaselessly, propagate the earth and make disciples of all nations... I trust God to perfect all that concerns us all.
