HOW TO CLEAN YOUR MAKEUP BRUSH

3 Products That'll Clean Your Makeup Brushes And Save Lots Of Time Confession: most of us would rather buy a brand new set of makeup brushes than clean the ones we already own. Washing the bristles to remove build-up and dirt without getting water inside the handle can be such a tedious task. Not to mention, if you don't scrub well enough, you'll have to start the process all over again just to get the job done. Thankfully, there are a few time-saving tools that really clean makeup brushes. From a handheld, multi-textured palette to an oversized mat that adheres to your bathroom sink to a washing machine-like device, your filthy makeup brushes will look practically brand new in no time. Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette This bright pink silicone palette slips right onto your hand like a glove, allowing for better control as you swivel around makeup brushes onto its textured surface. Plus, it comes with two trial packets of the Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Gel. We recommend packing this tool in your luggage or handbag for on-the-go cleaning. Shop Real Techniques Brush Cleansing Palette, $15 Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Mat The Sigma Beauty Mat looks strikingly similar to the palette above, but what makes it stand out is its patented seven-textured design that makes it easy to clean eye, lip and face makeup brushes. You don't have to worry about it slipping all over the place because of its secured suction cups, and it'll fit right onto most sinks. Shop Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Mat, $25 Lilumia Brush Cleanser Do you want to be more mindful about eating healthy foods that’ll keep your mind and body at their best? President Obama's Body Image Comments Will Melt Your Heart

President Obama's Body Image Comments Will Melt Your Heart File this under: Love, love and more love. President Barack Obama sat down with ballerina Misty Copeland for an eye-opening conversation with Time. Both pioneers in their respective fields, the pair chatted about obstacles they have overcome, issues of race and their legacies. After pointing out the sheer absurdity that Copeland's body is considered "athletic" or "large" in the ballet world ("You're tiny!" he said), the president was asked if he notices that same body image pressure with his two daughters, Malia, 17 and Sasha, 14.  Theo Wargo via Getty Images The proud father, who reportedly got choked up talking about his children at last week's state dinner, explained it's his wife Michelle -- and his relationship with her -- that promotes a healthy body image for the two young women. “The fact that my daughters have got a tall gorgeous mom who has some curves, and that their father appreciates, I think is helpful," he said. "I do think that culture’s changing for the younger generation a little bit more… But it’s still a challenge.” Sigh. Never change, you two.            

The Underwear Every Celebrity Wears on the Red Carpet  With the weight of award season upon us, we have to wonder: What sort of underwear do all these celebrities wear with their gorgeous gowns? The brand that gives such a seamless look is one that's easy to find and shop: Commando. Commando is more present on red carpets than any other underwear brand out there. According to celebrity stylist Karla Welch, who has dressed clients like Olivia Wilde and Zooey Deschanel, “Commando is the basis for all of the looks we create. It’s simple, smart, and it’s this little secret that’s available to everyone. It’s rocket science for underwear." Celebrity stylist Mel Ottenberg, who styles Rihanna, agrees: “When it comes to thongs, I always choose Commando. They don’t show, even when the dress is totally sheer and you’re going to see everything.” If it works for Rihanna, Zooey, and Olivia, it works for us! Scroll down to see and shop great Commando underwear!
