The recent signing of Bale from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid with a
whooping sum of €100 million which makes him the worlds most expensive
purchase make me wonder why on earth he would of all the extraordinarily
talented footballers be purchased at such bank breaking sum.
I
do believe there's more to his signing to Real Madrid than meets the
eyes. This is obviously an attempt to draw an undeserved attention to
him. No doubt, since the news broke, he has become a topic of discussion
amongst analyst and professional footballers like him.
In an era
where there are better players like Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo,
Falcao, the young Brazilian wizard Neymar just to mention a few who
deserve such huge amount for purchase to a club, Real Madrid chose to go
for Bale who not too many soccer lovers know about and who does not in
anyway make the least of top 10 brimming hot players in the world.
Only time will tell what Real Madrid hopes to achieve with his transfer to the club at the bank breaking sum.
